This Privacy Policy explains how the NELOA Android application ("NELOA", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information. NELOA is intended only for people aged 18 or older.
1. Information we collect
Account and profile information
- Phone number and authentication identifiers.
- Name, username, biography, gender, date of birth/age, languages, interests and home region.
- Profile photos, posts, stories, captions, comments, reviews, followers/following and mood or status information that you choose to provide.
Communications and community activity
- Private and room chat messages, voice messages, photos, gifts, reports, blocks and support requests.
- Live-audio room participation, speaker/wait-list state, mute state, room roles and connection metadata.
- Game participation, outcomes, wins and related activity.
Device, permission and usage information
- Approximate location/region when you grant location permission.
- Microphone audio while you actively use a live-audio or voice feature and grant microphone permission.
- Device and app identifiers, push-notification tokens, crash/diagnostic information, online status, timestamps and feature activity.
Purchases and optional verification
- Coin balance, gifts, transaction history and Google Play purchase-verification information. NELOA does not receive your complete payment-card number from Google Play.
- If you use an earnings or withdrawal feature, information you submit for identity/KYC, payout and fraud-prevention checks.
2. How we use information
- Provide authentication, profiles, discovery, messaging, live audio, games, gifts, purchases and support.
- Operate speaker controls, moderation, reporting, blocking and fraud/abuse prevention.
- Send service and push notifications.
- Verify purchases, maintain balances and process eligible payouts.
- Debug, secure and improve NELOA, comply with law and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
3. Microphone and live audio
Joining a room does not by itself make your microphone live. Microphone access is used when you choose a voice feature and are permitted to speak. Live audio is transmitted in real time through our communication provider. NELOA currently does not make routine recordings of live rooms. A future recording feature would require appropriate notice, consent and an updated policy.
4. How information is shared
- Other users: information you make public, profile details, posts, room activity and communications sent to them.
- Service providers: Google/Firebase services for authentication, database, storage, notifications, server functions and diagnostics; Google Play for purchases; and LiveKit for real-time audio connectivity.
- Legal and safety: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse or respond to lawful requests.
- Business changes: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or transfer, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide NELOA, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements. Some backup, security, transaction or legal records may remain for a limited period after deletion where required or permitted.
You may schedule deletion inside NELOA under Settings → Permanently Delete Account. The app provides a two-day cancellation window. You can also use our web deletion instructions.
6. Your choices
- Edit profile information and control Android microphone, notification and approximate-location permissions in device settings.
- Block or report users and content.
- Request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify account ownership.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encryption in transit. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your OTP and password and report suspected misuse promptly.
8. Adults only
NELOA is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that an underage person has provided information, we may restrict the account and delete the information as appropriate.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as NELOA changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
